Dramaturg, Literary Manager
Bennett Fisher has previously dramaturged for Cutting Ball’s The Tempest, Pelleas & Melisande, and Risk is THIS 2012. He has appeared as an actor in Cutting Ball’s Pelleas & Melisande, the workshop of Gizmo, and has directed and performed in several Hidden Classics readings. As a playwright, actor, dramaturg, and director, Bennett has collaborated with Campo Santo (company member), Threshold (company member), Stanford Summer Theater, AtmosTheatre, Marin Shakespeare Company, Sleepwalkers, No Nude Men, New Conservatory, the Pear Avenue Theater, DramaWorks, and many others. Bennett wrote the screenplay for the feature film “S.E.R.P.”, which will be released later in the year. His original plays have been performed across the United States. His play Hermes is available through Exit Press in the anthology Songs of Hestia, and his version of Karel and Joseph Capek’s The Insect Play will receive a workshop in Risk is THIS 2013.
