Anna R. Oliver’s credits include: Red, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Heartbreak House, Pillow Man, Fraulein Else, Magic Fire with The Berkeley Repertory Theatre; The Tempest, Candida, Man and Superman, Restoration Comedy, Nicholas Nickelby with California Shakespeare Theatre; World premier of Jeffrey Hatcher’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Iphigenia in Aulis, Major Barbara with San Jose Repertory; Anatol, The Devil’s Disciple, Trojan Women, Dear Master, Saint Joan, A place with Pigs, Glass Menagerie, and others with Aurora Theater; The Constant Wife, The House of Mirth, and The Guardsman with A.C.T.; Her work has also been seen at The Welsh National Opera, The Seattle Repertory Theatre, The Old Globe, The McCarter, The Arizona Theatre Company, The Dallas Theater Center, B.A.M., San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, The New York City Opera, The Canadian Opera Company, Los Angeles Opera, and the Boston Lyric Opera. Awards: 2006 Helen Hayes award nomination for best costumes, Garland award, Craig Noel awards, numerous Bay Area Theatre Critic Circle and Dean Goodman awards. Anna earned her BFA from California College of Art, 1984, and her MFA from Yale School of Drama.
