Gwyneth Richards, an Artistic Associate with Cutting Ball, was seen as Genevieve and the Old Servant in Pelleas & Melisande and as Mrs. Smith in Lady Grey (in ever lower light) and other plays. Other performances with Cutting Ball include The Taming of the Shrew, staged readings and readings with the Hidden Classics Series. Performances at all points of the compass in the Bay Area include The Belle of Amherst, The Train Play, The Cocktail Hour, The Lion in Winter, All’s Well that Ends Well, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Quartermaine’s Terms (for which she received a BATTC award) and her own one-woman show, Born Again through Shakespeare.
Gwyneth has taught her popular classes in Acting Shakespeare a.k.a. “Shakespeare without Tears,” for over 25 years and taught at Cal Shakes, A.CT, and the College of Marin.
